Indoor Air Quality
According
to the EPA, the average levels of several common pollutants
are 2 to 5 times higher indoors than outdoors. Indoor air
quality (IAQ) refers to the level of pollutants—both
particulate and gaseous—found in the air of an indoor,
enclosed environment. With the realization of the widespread
presence and dangers of certain chemicals in homes and offices,
IAQ is becoming a growing health concern.
